Shopping.

I just love going clothes shopping in San Diego, because wherever I go, I always get this feeling that I'm not cool enough to shop there. What a great marketing concept.

Constructing Reality.

I wonder how long it will be before they come for me.

Blah.

There is something seriously wrong with me. I'm exhausted all day and then I lie awake at night when I should be sleeping. I can't figure out how to fix this.

Work.

I finally got a logic analyzer capture of the event that I've been trying to debug for the past three weeks. In retrospect it's apparent that a number of circumstances were conspiring against me. For starters, a hardware defect was causing the utopia tx-clav1 signal to float between low and high. It looks like a periodic pulse on the signal trace, which is clearly not the desired behavior. In addition to that, task execution latency was causing an overlap of the data cells with the expected MAC control cell. Once the hardware guys fixed the tx-clav1 signal, the problem went away. Thank God for logic analyzers.

Free at last.

Wednesday was my boss' last day at work. I just found out last week that he's leaving the company. I can't even begin to describe how much joy this brings me. If by some miraculous fluke I can continue to do my job without having to report to a boss, I would be in heaven.
