Homeland Security aka Secret Police.
What's the point of having armed law enforcement officers on planes? What does the officer say if a terrorist attempts to hijack the plane? Stop or I'll shoot and possibly cause a spark that will ignite the fuel tanks and cause us all to die!!

During the holidays the air force was flying fighter jet missions around New York and Washington. We were encouraged not to alter our flight plans. In the event of a highjacking, the air force would shoot down the jetliner with everyone onboard. You can sleep tonight knowing your government is in total control. They have their fingers on the rockets that will sacrifice hundreds of innocent civilians...... to save hundreds of innocent civilians. All the highjacker has to do is divert the plane from the flight plan. Makes me want to jump on the next flight out......

What are a few lost lives in the name of fighting terrorism? Clearly we should all feel safer with Bush at the wheel.
