Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind.
I saw the movie on Tuesday. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a LONG time. Everyone should definitely check it out. Aside from delivering on all of the theatrical mechanisms of a good movie, like acting and plot and character development, it made achingly poignant observations about love and relationships. About our ingrained desire to find someone that will rescue us from the interminable loneliness we carry inside. And our unwillingness to let go of that hope even in the face of discord and disappointment. It hits a little too close to home in a lot of ways.
