Mythos.
We're living in a time of mythology. If terrorists attack us from inside the country we will hear a story about how bipartisanship prevented this administration from keeping us safe. If there is no such attack, we will hear cries of victory from those who subscribe to the Bush doctrine. This is the dark ages of reason, an era of anti-enlightenment. And the new God is George W. Bush. Believe in Him and ye shall be saved. For only He knows the true path to the Promised Land. Amen.
